I am a huge fan of indie films, both the actors and film makers and I had been reading online about Bazookas: The Movie for a long time and it was worth the wait!
***SPOILERS*** The owner of a family owned gym, Gus Bazooka (Stosh Zona, dies suddenly and leaves the business to his two sons. Angus (Vinny Duwe) is the good son trying to keep the business going and Judah (Sean R. Brooks) is the weasel of an older brother trying to sabotage the gym so he can sell it! The two brothers make a bet that will give control of the gym over to the winner and that's where the movie really shines!
Angus enlists his employees (Angela Cohen, Nicole Galati, Jason J. Michael, Roberto Lombardi & Steven Nelson) to help him save the gym by introducing some sexy new classes and promotions, while Judah plots to destroy it with his henchmen (Joseph Campellone and Omar Portilla) by sabotage!
The DVD package is 100% satisfying with a behind the scenes photo montage, directors commentary and a blooper reel that's just as funny as the movie itself! Not to mention how top notch the cinematography and the amazing music is in this movie!
Bazookas is total slapstick, college humor in the vein of Porky's or Old School and is just as good (if not better) than most! If you like those movies, you'll love Bazookas: The Movie!!

When Gus Bazooka built his gym he never imagined that his sons, Angus and Judah, would someday battle for control. However, after Gus meets an untimely death (during a topless racquetball game) the future of the business becomes uncertain and the brothers make a wager to see who will take sole ownership of the gym. When Judah (Sean R. Brooks) and his henchmen resort to sabotage and hidden cameras, Angus (Vinny Duwe) and his employees decide a sexy overhaul is their only chance to save the gym. The beautiful gym manager Christine (Angela Cohen) and sexy physical trainer Jackie (Nicole Galati) get a little help from their friends to raise the stakes and turn up the heat with strip aerobics classes, an aquatics instructor specializing in the breast stroke, and a sexy calendar shoot run by Kirk and Dave (Steven Nelson, Jason J. Michael). In the meantime, Angus dreams about the gorgeous accountant Natalie (Anita Sabherwal), the FBI moves in, Janitor (Roberto Lombardi) yells obscenities, and the wrecking ball threatens. This hilarious, one-of-a-kind comedy is a must see, future cult classic!

Bazookas is a solid comedy kinda like National Lampoon movies. There are some pretty funny parts and there are some good-looking girls who end up showing their "bazookas". I rented this first on VOD and then I ended up buying the DVD for the extras. is a little steep but I got it for a few bucks cheaper from another seller. I gave 5 stars because the movie was funnier than I was expecting (I laughed out loud 2 times which is kinda rare) and for the eye candy. The first scene of the movie was probably worth the price alone when a hot busty girl plays strip raquetball. (That might be the real reason I got the DVD! Haha.)
