OK husbands- if you want to spend some time with your wife, chances are you've been in the room when this horrible, treacly, maudlin, melodramatic, pseudo-soap has been on the tube. If so, I feel your pain. Yes, it's predictable. Yes, it's cheez whiz. But what's worse is it pretends to be a serious show. At least "Days of Our Lives" didn't pretend to be something it wasn't. I was so glad when Ally McBeal finally went off the air, but now there's this. McDreamy, McSteamy...last seven minutes of the show, cue some overwrought emo music, cue someone dying or crying or whatever. Yuck. Why is TV so terrible?
